Hi, I'm Julie!

I fell in love with gardening and the fulfillment it brought my young family over fifteen years ago.  As a Gardenary-certified Consultant with a B.S in Health Sciences I have always had a deep interest and appreciation for a holistic approach to health and wellness.  I believe a garden is a sustainable space which leaves us with a healthier body, calmer mind and a happier soul.

Intensive Planting Techniques to Grow Food

Intensive planting mimics the beneficial traits found in our natural ecosystem and can be ideal for smaller growing spaces.  Adding greater plant diversity helps to enrich the soil's nutrients, provide shade for smaller plants, suppress weeds and deter pests.  Intensive planting can enhance the overall health of your kitchen garden while allowing for frequent harvest and adding aesthetic appeal.
